okay, so we can mark this bug as fix released, since it has been fixed
in intrepid.

Hardly. I was involved with this action. If you have evidence about
mpeg2 encoders not being 'that dangerous', please bring it up to me
personally, or even better to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

That doesn't help ffmpeg users that don't have a JVC camcorder. Anyway,
it would most probably only help if you let the camcorder do the encoding.

They are manually uploaded packages by me from the current source of the
ffmpeg package for ubuntu. If you are interested in helping me with
