I can confirm this bug too: hibernate works with 2.6.24-16, but not with -17 and -18 (not tried -19 and above). I am using -18 because -16 has sound problems (however, I still can't make -18 recognize my system's microphone). My computer is: Toshiba A205-S5825 laptop upgraded to 2GB RAM
