lusisto, resuming without borders is a known problem at the moment,
using Dave's scripts. You can install the fusion-icon package which will
allow you to restart compiz easily. To do this, run: sudo aptitude
install fusion-icon in a terminal.

You'll want to make fusion-icon run on startup. To do this, go to System
> Preferences > Sessions. Click "Add," and in the command field, type
"fusion-icon".

Once fusion-icon is running, after you resume without borders, right
click on it and select "Reload Window Manager." Hope this helps.
