I'm confused. If I search Nvidia's site using Google, I can find driver 173.08, but if I use their driver selector (http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us) or click on the list of linux drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html), the latest driver available is 169.12. Does that mean that 169.12 is the latest stable driver? Should I not be installing 173.08?
Also, if I install the 173.08 driver manually, will it break the next time I upgrade my Ubuntu distribution? -- firefox crashes X on this web page https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219866 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
