My bug is about multiple graphics cards in Ubuntu, which was deleted as a dupe of this one. Ubuntu simply cannot handle 3 graphics cards at once (at least mine). I know this is not my issue because Mandriva Linux easily detects and sets these up, with no hassle whatsoever. Ubuntu likes having 2, any 2, in any combination, 2 graphics cards work fine.
Its when I enable a third graphics card, that Ubuntu will NOT start up. It will hang in the middle of placing menus and toolbars on the desktop! I like Ubuntu but it simply will not support my set up (and no one can help) so I have to abandon it for a working distro!! :( -- [Gutsy] X crash at startup when Xinerama is enabled (radeon) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/184296 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
