Thanks for your participation on that bug. Since it is now clear that
you bug is the same as 147623, I will mark it as a duplicate. The
workaround that is described in the ubuntuforum might cause problems to
some people so it's more recommended to disable usplash. However, I'm
glad to hear what you said about ia32libs because it makes sense,
probably that this will get fixed, ubuntu developers do a very good job
:)
