I cannot believe the lack of attention that this bug is getting. I would
try to fix it, but I'm still a noob. I used several different fixes, and
my HD either overheats or the load cycle doesn't slow down. I think that
if no progress in made by release 8.04, I'm either going to search for
another distro or maybe go back to Windows, although I shudder at the
thought.

I don't need my laptop ruined over a lack of effort by software
developers. I just spent all my money on getting one with Ubuntu pre-
installed from Dell. (I'm pretty much broke now!)
