@dtl131 I understand your concerns and would agree on the surface. The only reason I'm disagreeing is because I'm aware of some things going on behind the scenes with regard to this issue (as I'm part of the Ubuntu Community Council) and am certain the "scope creep" will actually be beneficial here. I can't share much more details than that at the moment for confidentiality reasons, but this is something that Ubuntu community governance is working actively on, and the addition of the 535 drivers to this issue is part of community governance's efforts in this area.
