Just want to add some more information about impact, I've an NVIDIA
GeForce, RTX 3060, which I bought brand new in 2021 (with the new
machine that included it), so definitively not new, but far from being
old. Removal of the 535 is preventing me from running Wayland on my
machine, which is running 24.04. Using X11 degraded performance
significantly and I'm not sure if I can upgrade to 26.04 because GNOME
will be Wayland only.

As you know, buying new hardware is these days prohibitively for most
people in the world, this should also be taken into consideration in the
spirit of the Ubuntu Mission (taking the best of Free Software to the
widest audience), and taking also the Ubuntu CoC (be considerate).

Best regards to all.
