Thank you Olivier, the 64 GiB thumb drive is faulty, only showing 5.8 GiB total available space. Since that is the same size as the ISO, I can see a few GiB getting lost. The folder sizes on the drive amount to approximately 5.8 GiB and the ISO being also 5.8 GiB I am unsure what to think
Curiously, the Startup disk creator app did not through up any objections while writing to the USB drive. That is another task for me after some research, making a bug or feature request for that app. I am curious as to where you found the information, I missed. Admittedly I stopped skimming through about three logs when I felt like my eyes were crossing. Passing me where you looked would I hope keep me from taking up the team's time Other than my question above, I see no reason for keeping this report open, and am Not sure I am allowed close it. Thank you again, and know to my mind you are magicians. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2097491 Title: 24.04 new uploader files not present where downloader is looking - no space left on device To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/subiquity/+bug/2097491/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
