I tried a few things to try and rule out problems in other places... 1. I inserted a USB stick into the port the USB Ethernet adapter normally connects to. It shows up on boot. 2. I removed the USB hard disk, since lsusb -t shows it coming off the same hub. That did not help.
I can't test the USB Ethernet adapter in another port because this laptop only has the 1 type C port. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2092711 Title: USB Ethernet adapter does not show up on boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2092711/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
