FWIW: The interface is not currently being assigned an address because I changed /etc/network/interface to make the wifi interface the primary interface.
I tried a few variations on forcibly loading the kernel module (based on https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2500309) but nothing helped. The device never appeared. Only un-plugging and re-inserting the device makes it show up. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2092711 Title: USB Ethernet adapter does not show up on boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2092711/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
