The bug still exists in Hardy. You can reproduce it the same way in Hardy that you can in Gutsy. The only difference(for me at least), is that instead of corrupting the screen with the mouse cursor frozen in place, the screen goes blank.
For me scorched 3d will cause it to crash pretty quickly in Hardy, running Kenta Cho's "mu-cade" will cause it to crash in several seconds.
