The current Lubuntu Groovy iso file $ ls -l groovy-desktop-amd64.iso -rw------- 1 sudodus sudodus 1894162432 okt 13 16:56 groovy-desktop-amd64.iso
$ sha256sum groovy-desktop-amd64.iso 2bc2b6bf2a14a4a293ce5280e754ed9ef4913873a529c99bfe0bcfe222aff2b5 groovy-desktop-amd64.iso when cloned does *not* boot in my son's HP Elitebook 8560p but it boots in the Lenovo V130. This does *not* match the behaviour of the current Ubuntu Groovy iso file, that works also in the HP Elitebook 8560p. -o- The current Lubuntu iso file '20201013' was created later than that of Ubuntu '20201013.1', but the number in the ISO tracker is lower. So I guess that the Lubuntu iso file lacks the final tweak of the boot structure (adding mbr flag: --mbr-force-bootable). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1899308 Title: failure to boot groovy daily (again) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-cdimage/+bug/1899308/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
