Hello, I have to comment here too. Pawel, it is not as you mention "important for SOME users". That some (in fact many) people are people using Ubuntu but not even know where complain about this issue. Sorry but I cant easily deploy Ubuntu for normal users (PCs for older people, or PCs for only browsing, accounting, etc.) because few days after are calling me and have questions about strange "snap" folder and how to get rid of it. I had even few cases that this annoying bug made them go back to Windows. They are really sensitive where everything is and why.
It is simple, do it right (or hidden by default) or dont put it in Ubuntu by default. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1575053 Title: Please move the "$HOME/snap" directory to a less obtrusive location To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/snapd/+bug/1575053/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
