I can confirm this. Using ooimpress when I open a document that has an ñ or ú, they are replaced for Òs and ˙s This happens as long as I keep those chars in Bitstream Vera Sans. The bug seems to be there only when the non-ascii doc is the first one you open, if you first open an empty doc and then the offending doc, you won't have the issue.
