Sure. Everything works fine for me. I have to install some ia32 libs and apps 
for some stuff but, other than that, no problems at all. All my hardware 
(except sound and modem) work out of the box with good performance.
Never tried i386 on my x64 cpus though.

the intel-hda works fine for sound (with latest alsa, because, of
course, alc268) and detects the modem right too (for use with slmodem-
daemon), but i couldnt make it respond to any commands... =/ anyone got
that working with a intel-hda rtl alc268 card?
