I've got an Acer Aspire 5710z with 2.6.20-16 (32 bit) kernel with an HDA intel audio card with a Realteck ID 268. I succesfully got sound working compiling the 1.0.15rc3 ALSA driver but that broke my Linuxant driver (v. 7.68 hsf) for my Conexant HDA modem reinstalling both didn't work, uninstalling it again it works (not the modem).
