@Albert: Thanks for your work; the patch applies and works correctly. Can you please explain your changelog entry though, its not clear at all to me what you mean:
- what is bug 1570143? Is it an upstream bug reference? - "this breaks existing libsensors configurations, so warn user after upgrading and use the default values instead." What is this? - Suppose the above is valid, how is the warning being done with your patch? @Alex: re. your criticism about Ubuntu not shipping your icons, before this patch we shipped the Debian version as is. I noted that Debian replaced these new icons you are talking about with older icons, since the new ones are "non-free": <QUOTE> The icons that are present in the original upstream source are licensed under the CC-BY-SA 2.5 license which is not DFSG-free. They have been replaced with the icons from version 2.6.2 of the package, which are available under the GPL. </QUOTE> ** Changed in: sensors-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low Assignee: Cesare Tirabassi (norsetto) => albert (albrt) Status: In Progress => Incomplete -- Sensors-applet report Core 2 Duo temp as A (Ampere) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/147188 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
