Ok, I tested xenial-desktop-i386.iso (sha1sum d066f5a8f8502c623501857b1464713be9940c79) from today's daily build. I put it on a USB stick and booted into it. (For my own notes: press F11 to enter boot menu on startup, then press Tab and 'live' to boot into live ubuntu.)
I entered my wifi password then installed scangearmp from Canon's website (scangearmp-mg-7100series-2.20-1-deb). It *was* able to find my Canon scanner and perform a scan successfully. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1529232 Title: Scanner not detected over wifi since after 3.13.0-68 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1529232/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
