Canon have come back with: "Unfortunately you need to wait for scangearmp to update so that it then supports ubuntu version 14.04. We are not yet aware of a scheduled time of release for this update, the only thing I can recommend is that you keep an eye on the website to see when the scangear is updated to support this."
And I notice now at the download link for scangearmp v2.20 it says under System Requirements: Fedora 18(32bit/64bit) Ubuntu 13.04(32bit/64bit) So, maybe when Canon update scangearmp to support 14.04 they'll take a look at this bug... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1529232 Title: Scanner not detected over wifi since after 3.13.0-68 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1529232/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
