If compiz has high priority and intel cards are nearly the only ones who work
with free drivers it could be possible to choose between i810 and intel driver
through resolution. All tft resolutions which are working out of the box with
i810 driver get an xorg.conf with i810 driver with enabled compiz and the other
ones the intel driver without compiz. The funny thing is that e.g. my uncommon
resolution of 1366x768 works mostly fine with i810 driver out of the box. But I
don't know if i810 behavior is for every resolution the same.
Another option would be the automatic install of i915resolution with the
correct inserted tft resolution so it should work with i810 driver out of the
box. But I don't know if this would work stable in one month.
