Hello everybody ! It happended to me while upgrading from 3.13.0-43 to 3.13.0-44 on a ubuntu 14.04 nvidia module could not build. I realised that the update didn't upgraded the linux headers and linux headers generic. So the solution for me was to install the headers (booting from the older kernel) and execute : sudo apt-get install nvidia-331-uvm --reinstall
