I have Ubuntu 13.10 on two computers, a laptop and a desktop. Upgraded the laptop to 14.04 and everything is fine. Upgraded the desktop and ran into this error.
I am not a power user. Just a moderately computer-savvy business owner that is trying to avoid Windows 8. At this point, I am ready to consider my desktop dead. I may try some of the fixes proposed here, but honestly, I don't understand them well enough to really even know where to start. I am saddened. Mostly because I thought I found an alternative to Windows. -Dana -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1289977 Title: Ubuntu 14.04 Update breaks grub, resulting in "error: symbol 'grub_term_highlight_color' not found" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1289977/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
