Confirming this bug still exists when using the daily build 64 bit desktop live install downloaded 2013-04-21.
i7 PC with intel Ivybridge chipset. 1 x SDD ; 1 x HDD - both aligned to sector 2048 (1MB boundary partition alignment). Boot live session - selecting 'Try Ubuntu' option. b. Open nautilus and mount a partition (happened to be /home) c. Start install Ubuntu. Previous workarounds did not seem to help e.g. CLI ubiquity --debug, starting gparted then closing.
