Christopher M. Penalver, I tested the upstream kernel 3.4.0-030400rc6 using the same procedure as with the custom kernel. The test failed 10/10 times.
NB in order to install the upstream kernel I had to remove the custom AMD graphics drivers and Broadcom wireless drivers I had been using, also non-standard VirtualBox packages (v4.2.6 from the ricotz1 ppa). I have no reason to believe this would have changed the outcome, in particular since the behavior of the 3.2.0.37 kernel w.r.t. the Logitech receiver was identical without the custom drivers and packages. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1072082 Title: 046d:c52b Problems using Logitech Unifying Receiver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1072082/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
