Christopher M. Penalver, here are the results of the test of the 3.0.0-custom2+ kernel, over 20 trials:
Pass 3; Fail 17 This looks very similar to the result for the Raring 3.8.0-rc6 kernel. It is not clear if there is a statistically significant difference from using the current Precise 3.2.0-37 kernel; although my test reported above noted Pass/Fail of 0/10 I have seen _occasionally_ using the 3.2.0-37 kernel that it can boot with the Logitech receiver operational, without the 'mousefix'; this does appear to be very rare, and getting accurate statistics rather than anecdotal evidence would be very tedious. I estimate each test run would require at least 50 reboots. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1072082 Title: 046d:c52b Problems using Logitech Unifying Receiver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1072082/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
