I use om26er's ppa and it solves the problem completely. Tried Dimitry's steps but cannot reproduce the bug. Ubuntu 12.04 and LibreOffice 3.6 from ppa. I think it is fixed in 12.10, though I have no idea whether the fix affects the global menu because I have uninstalled it.
