@Vladimir, did you have anything else running in the background?  I've
found if all I'm running is chrome + terminal + files, I will never
crash, no matter how much switching apps I do.  And regardless of what
sites I have open, or the number of tabs I have open.  Just for
clarification, I have flash disabled in my chrome (using kill flash
extension), but I have it enabled for select sites.

But if I startup a vmware or gedit app, I'll crash at some point.  I
could also try using firefox, and I bet that would crash as well
(judging from what others have posted).
