@LE BIHAN: Yes, of course the patch had been applied already. All I did was switch from one desktop to another. Lots of programs were running (aMSN, Firefox w/ Flash, Epiphany, LibreOffice Writer, ...) but Banshee was not one of them. The error messages printed on the console are not very useful. If there is something I can run to get more information please tell me.
