I have had another gnome-shell crash that appears to have been caused by installing a package. In the dmesg buffer I have: [180788.079876] gnome-shell[21173]: segfault at 41c001d8 ip 00007f4c205cc644 sp 00007fffaa39de98 error 4 in libclutter-glx-1.0.so.0.800.0[7f4c20590000+ff000]
I was installing ruby, and I noticed something about processing menu blablah in the terminal. Unfortunately I used the same terminal to run `dmesg` and the package installation output scrolled away before I thought to save it, but I imagine that updating the menu caused this crash. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/889706 Title: Gnome-shell randomly crashes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/889706/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
