FYI, on my Sandybridge graphics using "Force full screen redraws (buffer swap) on repaint", I found graphics were most smooth if I also disable "Sync To VBlank". That also disables the fix from my PPA, so you don't really need the PPA unless you have ATI/AMD graphics.
Also, the Intel graphics are more smooth with TripleBuffer enabled (the default). Although glxgears reports a higher frame rate with TripleBuffer disabled, I actually experience a smoother desktop leaving TripleBuffer enabled. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/861061 Title: compiz 3d performance regression To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/861061/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
