"Try out the new rt2x00 module instead. This is the module that will eventually be merged into the Linux kernel."
Unfortunately, the rt2x00 module seems pretty much unmaintained and is not reported to support the Linux Wireless Extensions yet. I found some discussion about this back in July: http://mail.gnome.org/archives/networkmanager-list/2006-July/msg00054.html Sadly, nothing seems to have happened with it since. If at least Network Manager worked with WEP and without any security that would at least be something. -- rt2500 driver does not implement wireless extensions correctly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/37120 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
