But just to verify: Could you please attach an alsa-info to this bug with my package installed, and without headphones plugged in? (See wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/AlsaInfo ) Also, when you say "still silent", is that speaker only, or has the headphones stopped working as well when the deb is installed?
