@ Tommy: Thanks. I looked at the bugs previously and didn't find any that seemed to be the same at the time. I'll do some more searching and see if thats changed since then.
@ Seth: Thanks for the insight. On a clean install i'm able to detect networks and even connect occasionally but only once that i can recall was i actually able to pull up google. It only loaded about half the page before becoming unresponsive. I've never been able to connect to the router config pages either ie 192.168.1.1 etc. The dd-wrt is my home network and i've tried using different keys to no effect. I've also attempted connecting to open networks, different brands and models of routers, etc. All produce the same result. The nohwcrypt=1 fix does not work in this case either. If there are anymore logs you'd like me to provide let me know. Also, i use teamviewer for remoting into my clients' workstations so that is an option as well, if anyone is willing to take a look. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/784768 Title: Ath5k on Acer Aspire One ZG5 not working. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
