I followed the instructions. (including the specified deb files) Running X without gdb still results in segv. Running X via gdb results in a unrecoverable blank black screen as soon as I ran "run" Getting back to a console was not possible (ctrl-alt-backspace, c+a fx, c+ fx, etc) So I ran gdb via SSH.
