Okay, so I think I have found the issue. It has nothing to do with the
ath9k drivers, it appear to have everything to do with the stock kernel
that came with my Linux distro. How that works, I don't know. After
finals today I had some time to kill so I downloaded and compiled the
2.6.33 kernel. After some initial tests everything seems to be working
fine. I will continue to use this over the next week to see how it goes.
