Chris (and perhaps Matt, too), can you tell me whether you needed a manufacturer-supplied driver to make your printer working under Karmic? Or did it work with Karmic out-of-the-box. If it worked with Karmic out- of-the-box, please attach the PPD file (from /etc/cups/ppd/) which was used for your printer. With this I can find out why it does not work under Lucid any more. If you do not have a Karmic installation, try this with a Live CD. Thanks.
