Well brainstorm might not be anything, but its yet another sign that the VAST majority of users oppose the idea. If you think the opposite is true, then plz, enlighten me :].
Its a good thing to allow the button positioning to be controlled through themes/skins. This provides options, which is always a good thing. However, making something the default behavior is a serious matter. Having mac style buttons on windows, while everything else (tabs,etc..) have those buttons on the right seems like a really really bad idea. Still, the ubuntu team has had some great ideas so far, so i am willing to run with it for the time being.
