I've built a 2.6.32-rc6 kernel with a patched rs400.c file (I patched also "by hand") and it's also not working. For me, it's worst than the 2.6.31-14-generic kernel, because after the boot I've got only a 800x600 screen resulotion. After the suspend my notebook can't wake up, just hangs on with a black screen and a lighting hdd led.. but it's completely frozen.
I've also built a linux-next kernel (patched with "nov 6" patchset) and in this source tree the rs400.c is already patched. With this kernel I've got the same errors as with the 2.6.32-rc6 built on my own.. 2009/11/9 gene <eumos...@gmail.com>: > So, I would like to explain again what I did. > > Downloaded the source package of 2.6.32-rc5 from ppa.
