I will reinstall and run "apport-collect 445550", but if it wasn't clear from what I wrote earlier I have no network connectivity immediately after installing Karmic and I'm unable to follow Alexander's directions to upgrade first (then reboot and run apport-collect), assuming I'm not overlooking a way around my lack of connectivity.
If I boot off of the "Desktop" version of the Karmic CD and mount the filesystems on my hard drives is there a way to run apt, dpkg, aptitude, etc., either from the installation on the hard drives or from the copy of Karmic running from CD in a way that will check for updates for the hard drive installation of Karmic? -- 9.10(beta) - wired network auto config problem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/445550 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
