I really dont like the new DAMN empty space. When mouse is hover on the notify, it will be lighter, blur. That is good enough, the space is totally overdo. When we have a empty desktop, no apps started, it shows a big space, then the notify, damn ugly! I know you considered user experience, I just want to say, the jaunty notify is better, really.
