A good place to discuss the alternative solutions would be the Ayatana mailing list (ayat...@lists.launchpad.net). Mark Shuttleworth made a decision to go for the pre-allocated slot to solve few problems:
- inconsistency in terms of where each bubble appears (predictability) - uncover the Firefox search bar - enable the asynchronous bubbles to append without "pushing" the confirmation bubbles down. Would be great to discuss these issues further, so once again I'd encourage everyone to write to the mailing list (Mark may not be subscribed to all bug reports, therefore he may not be aware of some of the conversations). -- Notifications should show up closer to top right https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/438536 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
