This is an astronomical problem with Ubuntu. And no.....they will just sweep it under the rug like all the rest of the schitt they don't want to deal with.
*no flash *many webcams don't work *most fingerprint readers won't work no matter what you try *Wireless is a krap-shoot keeping a connection, even if you can get the POS nm working *Still a ton of usb storage drives aren't recognized *printers don't work *scanners don't work The 'Elitist attitude with launchpad moderators is apathetic. Furthermore, Ubuntu is more concerned with the next "Unfunctional release" than to actually fix the krap that they've already released. They have a history of this and this is why they are going downhill. Mark Shuttleworth.....the inventor of audio deafness. (In regards to wireless, he's also the inventor of the "Nevernet" Ubuntu has become a toy OS and nothing more. The self-important pompous attitude of the launchpad geeks really pisses me off. They won't admit there's a problem with anything. Pick ANY browser, type in "Ubuntu sound or Ubuntu volume" and witness thousands of postings all over the world about this massive problem. And these dumb-phucks still haven't decided if its a problem. Incomplete status???????? The only thing incomplete here is the moderators brains. Get this; at the top of this thread is a disclaimer: "This bug report will be marked for expiration in 48 days if no further activity occurs." Well 'Laa-Tee-Daa. What a bunch of loser phuck-wads. We just bought new notebooks at the office and none of them have sound working more than whisper. And these CLOWNS want to mark this as Expired. What a bunch of pathetic losers. I'm going to forward this to Microsoft so they can use this thread in their own marketing campaign. Ubuntu sure as hell won't do anything with it. This thread is proof of that. -- sound problems with Ubuntu 9.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/410913 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
