Your English is far far better than my Italian, Roberto ;-) You are correct, I hadnt noticed but if Rhythmbox is already running then the player will immediately connect to Rythymbox as WALKMAN and there is access to music etc. No icon appears on the desktop. Interestingly if the player is unplugged then Rythymbox shuts down. I checked and gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor is running.
If I connect the player without Rhythmbox already running, then the desktop icon appears first then Rythymbox autostarts but does not connect to the player.
