I guess it would be a kernel related problem?, I have tried creating the 
bootable usb from Intrepid usind usb-creator, also tried on jaunty (on a 
virtual machine with usb support), after that tried to do it deleting the 
partition and forcing usb-creator to format and also selecting "discard 
settings on shutdown".
Nothing worked, it always showed the same message.
Do you know how can I attach the dmesg output from booting the usb (since it 
stop booting and show a initram console)?
Does it would help?
