I was not able to take digital photo since once I realize my laptop is
hanging with the num and cap-lock blinking, the only thing I can do is
press the power button and restart the mashine. I hope these lines may
help.

Another thing is, the back port modules doesn't fix the wifi problem for
me but they cause another which is reported here:

I followed the suggestion in the thread above and removed the back port
modules and the problem doesn't appear again.
