I've been cheering too soon... The bug is still here (just occured). Same scheme: WiFi, torrent download, the flooding started after some time from the begining of the download. One thing for sure that the bug occurs less often (f.e. I've downloaded ubuntu iso several times just to test it and nothing happened). One thing I've noticed is that I've never seen the problem during extensive use of the net by some other programs (e.g. Firefox with BBC iPlayer or other streaming media, updating the system what uses most of the bandwidth, Skype etc). Thus, maybe it's problem connected with the way that this programs use the threading mechanism (just a speculation though). I even switched from Transmission to Deluge to confirm that it isn't problem with the application, but as you can see it still happens.
