Following the tradition of our 10 S+SSPR Workshops in the past 20 years,
we are
pleased to inform you that we'll host S+SSPR 2022 *after* ICPR 2022 in
Montreal.
It is our pleasure to announce that Dr. Yoshua Bengio (Deep learning
expert and Turing Prize
Winner) will receive the *Pierre Devijver Award 2022* that highlights
scientists who have contributed
significantly to the field of statistical pattern recognition. The list

Dr. Yoshua Bengio will be in-person to accept the Pierre Devijver Award.
In addition to our three
Keynote Speakers, Dr. Bengio will give a Prize reception talk on deep
learning during the S+SSPR 2022
Workshop.

We will also have talks from IAPR Invited Keynote speakers: Linda G.
Shapiro, Mohamed Cheriet,
and Petia Radeva. They will give talks ranging from Analysis of Skin
