For a project funded by the Austrian Science Foundation (FWF), we are seeking for a postdoctoral researcher. This position is available for the duration of 3 years.
The applicant must have the following essential skills: - Profound background in applied mathematics and computer science, preferably graph theory or applied statistics - Very strong programming skills (C/C++,R) - Knowledge in data analysis and machine learning - Demonstrated research track and the ability to achieve research results independently. Moreover, good communication skills are also necessary. The successful candidate should have a PhD in mathematics, computer science, or physics.
